We’re heading to Colchester and couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot than Moon Crescent Bar. This gorgeous little wine bar is full of charm — cosy, welcoming and effortlessly stylish, making it an ideal setting for relaxed conversations and easy connections.

It’s also a brilliant spot for wine lovers, with a real focus on local Essex wines, making it a lovely place to discover something new while you mingle.

The evening begins with our Slow Dating format. You’ll be placed in small groups of 4–5 people, giving you 8 minutes at each table to chat and get to know one another. After each round, the men will move to the next table, ensuring that by the end of the structured part of the evening, everyone has had the chance to meet everyone else.

We use light, fun ice-breakers to help conversations flow naturally and keep the atmosphere relaxed.

Once the Slow Dating rounds are complete, the structure drops away and the evening becomes more informal. You’re free to continue conversations, move around the space, and enjoy the bar at your own pace.

Our events is open to adults aged 18 or over and who are currently single. By purchasing a ticket you confirm you meet this requirement.

We want to create a relaxed and friendly environment. Please treat all attendees with respect. Any inappropriate, offensive or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the event without a refund.

Everywhere We Meet acts as host for a period of two hours from the official start of each event. During this time, we’ll be on-site to facilitate the event and help everyone feel welcome. After the two-hour period, guests remain at the venue at their own discretion.

Attendees are responsible for their own interactions and safety during and after the event. The organisers accept no liability for any personal outcomes, meetings or relationships that may result.
