Kat

Kat is pure sunshine. She has the kind of energy that lights up a room the moment she walks in, and she has an incredible way of making everyone feel interesting, seen and completely at ease. She’s fun, engaging and effortlessly sociable — the sort of host who brings people together without it ever feeling forced. With Kat around, conversations flow, nerves melt away, and the whole room just feels alive.

What’s your hosting superpower?

I’m great at breaking the ice and sparking conversation. I love creating an atmosphere where people feel comfortable being themselves.

What do you love most about hosting singles events?

Bringing people together, full stop. There’s something really special about watching people step outside their comfort zone and do something brave. In a world that’s so social-media-fuelled and screen-heavy, genuine human connection can feel daunting — but it’s also so important. I love knowing I get to create a space where that can happen naturally.

What’s one thing you always make sure happens at your events?

That everyone leaves having connected with someone. Whether that’s their future soulmate or just a lovely new friend they’ll grab a coffee and a sweet treat with next week — no one leaves feeling invisible.

What would you order at the bar at one of our events?

A pint of stout. Every. Single. Time.
Unless I’m feeling fancy — then it’s a Rules House Cocktail: Tanqueray gin, Dubonnet, and Crémant Blanc de Blanc. VERY boujie, totally worth it.

What would you say to someone coming to one of our events for the first time?

Don’t put pressure on the night. You might meet your new partner, or you might meet your new best friend — either way, it’s just a great evening to meet new people, have a laugh, and enjoy a good natter. You’ll leave feeling genuinely proud of yourself for stepping outside your comfort zone.

What would you be doing if you weren’t hosting an Everywhere We Meet event?

Watching The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in the bath… or curled up in bed with a really good thriller with a packet of m&s chocolate coated custard creams… please try them and thank me later.
