Meet Victoria, our host in the West Midlands area. Victoria brings a calm, thoughtful presence to the events she hosts. Naturally empathetic and deeply observant, she has a genuine way of noticing people — especially those who might be feeling a little quieter or finding their feet. With a warm, reassuring approach, Victoria creates a safe and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels seen, comfortable, and welcome, allowing connections to unfold naturally.

What’s your hosting superpower?

Making everyone feel welcome. I’m a people person at heart and I’m great at noticing if someone needs a little help with introductions. If starting a conversation feels tricky, I’m always there to give it a gentle nudge.

What do you love most about hosting singles events?

Seeing people connect in real life. I think we’ve lost a bit of the art of real-world connection, so being in a room full of people having genuine conversations feels really special.

What’s one thing you always make sure happens at your events?

That everyone feels supported. Coming to a singles event can feel uncomfortable, so I always make sure people feel at ease and are genuinely having a good time.

What would you order at the bar at one of our events?

A cold pint of Cruzcampo.

What would you say to someone coming to one of our events for the first time?

It’s completely normal to feel a little nervous. By stepping into your uncomfortable-zone, you’re putting yourself out there…and that’s where the magic really happens.

What would you be doing if you weren’t hosting an Everywhere We Meet event?

Probably on my Peloton, relaxing with a film and my kiddos or singing away in my choir.
