Shannon is our brilliant host down in Cornwall — and trust us, you’ll know she’s in the room (in the very best way).

She brings a big personality wrapped in warmth. The kind of energy that makes everyone feel welcome within seconds. Shannon is completely at home curating events — it’s what she does — and she pours genuine care and attention into every detail to make sure the atmosphere feels just right.

Expect happy, uplifting party vibes, plenty of laughter, and a host who truly loves bringing people together. With Shannon at the helm, you’re in safe, joyful hands.

What’s your hosting superpower?

I am a passionate curator so I put a lot of time and effort into creating the perfect vibe with great lighting, music and other sensory cues that put people at ease. As a South African, I am naturally outgoing and hospitable and love to make people feel welcome, seen and supported in every way.

What do you love most about hosting singles events?

I am a big romantic at heart and just love to see people finding a connection. My favourite TV Show is First Dates and when I see people hit it off, I get totally giddy! 

What’s one thing you always make sure happens at your events?

That people have fun!! I will always brings the vibes and smash the tension. I believe if you're going out for the night, you might as well have a good time! 

What would you order at the bar at one of our events?

Either a Peach Jubel or a Tullamore Dew on the rocks.

What would you say to someone coming to one of our events for the first time?

That there is no need to feel any pressure or expectation and to simply try and have a bit of fun. That everyone in the room is feeling much the same, so a simple smile and hello goes a really long way.

What would you be doing if you weren’t hosting an Everywhere We Meet Event?
